Job Description

New Business Sales (Part time)

The BDC is a business minded person who secures new business accounts in accordance to targets set out by the Business Leader. A BDC will be responsible for sourcing quality leads & setting up meetings with qualified prospects to assess client needs, then matching these needs to Travel PA’s unique offering. Once an account is won the BDC will facilitate a full implementation process with the allocated Travel PA Consultant. The BDC will maintain regular contact with the client and continues to identify other opportunities to further grow the business and relationship over a 12 month period, in the process promoting referrals.

Job Purpose
1. To identify quality leads through platforms such as the internet, personal networking, external networking, face to face meetings, referrals & canvassing
2. Cold call leads with the aim to book a meeting with qualified prospects
3. Meet with prospects, assess their needs, reveal current pains then advise on Travel PA solutions & secure a commitment to do business
4. Regular client meetings to build a solid working relationship that is sustainable into the distant future & increase client spend to ensure there is no leakage, this will require a level of CRMing

Feb / March

Salary

Freelance Package 50% paid from Comm, month 1 – 6. 25% paid from Comm, month 7 – 12. No set office hours, option to work from home. Permanent Package available on request to successful applicants 25K Cost to company. 25% paid from comm

* A form of Sales Experience
* Own reliable transport
* Travel Industry Experience

Weekly Responsibilities
* Acquisition of new client accounts
* Driving and tracking account management of existing accounts
* Briefing to Business Leader on progress of what’s in the pipeline
* Ensure all new accounts trade at their maximum potential and are profitable
* Attend sales meetings with feedback on results and trends
* Attending networking functions, training seminars & client functions
