Job Description

• Successfully meet and exceed sales targets
• Ensure profitable new business is secured
• Effectively manage the tender process
• Compile monthly and weekly reports as per the requirements of the HRG Rennies Travel Exco
• Monitor and track sales performance on a quarterly basis and manage the departmental budget
• Continuously source ways of improving methods, processes and policies within New Business Sales
• Successfully manage and develop a team of New Business Sales Executives

• Able to negotiate with multiple streams i.e. client, supplier, internal stakeholders
• Computer literacy, specifically Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent and articulate communication skills, both verbal and written
• Customer focused approach
• Effective liaison / interaction skills at executive level
• Effective presentation skills, including formal presentation skills
• Excellent questioning and listening skills
• Ability to add value
• Ability to “think on your feet”
• Good attention to detail with a high commitment to quality, even under pressure

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

2 years relevant experience in similar position & industry
or 3 years in different industry

Sales / Marketing Degree - equivalent NQF level 6
People management experience
