Job Description

Travel Counsellors have experienced substantial growth and looking to add additional resources to its Business Development team at the Head Office in Cape Town.

The job involves mentoring, training and supporting approximately 140 home-based Travel Counsellors to achieve their goals and aspirations as home-based travel agents. The successful candidate will have a good grasp of retail travel market and all its demands and requirements, as well as thorough and practical knowledge of the leisure market.

Business development support will also include ongoing training as well as day to day assistance on the use of the company’s internal technology systems, including front and back office accounting systems and use of the company’s intranet and marketing systems.

To start ASAP or 4 May 2015

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a people person with a pleasant disposition. They will have excellent literacy, high level communication and presentation skills and will be proficient in the use of IT. A great work ethic and attitude are also prerequisites.
