Senior Travel Consultant (Permanent) Gauteng- Bedfordview -Retail

Job Description

Flight Specials has a career opportunity for a Senior Travel Consultant reporting to the Managing Director. This person will ensure high standards of customer service and have at least 5 years experience as a Senior Consultant, with good all-rounder corporate and leisure experience.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box approach to planning and designing of itineraries·  Proactive selling of products and services, ensuring the best possible options to internal and external customers.
  • Processing of reservations from quote stage to finalising – this includes reservations, invoicing and travel documents
  • Expanding product knowledge through attending training and relevent training courses

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
  • Travel and Tourism Degree/Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior role
  • Knowledge and work on Galileo GDS
  • Experience and work with Quicktrav
Experience:
  • Managing a team of travel agents
  • Ability to manage forecast vs actual budget reporting
  • Experience in developing and growing corporate travel portfolios
