We are looking for a driven, dynamic, well-spoken Senior Consultant to join our well established and growing direct sales channel, Travelbar. The Travelbar team at Travelstart aims to provide world-class customer service, while still providing our customers with the best and most affordable travel deals.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving sales with outstanding level of customer service;
- Using effective sales techniques and tools to achieve and exceed set sales targets selling international flight tickets, hotels, cruises, car rental, holiday packages as well as Travelstart products;
- Responsible for creating an environment to acquire, maintain and grow a solid client base contributing to the company profit;
- Increase sales and revenue on a daily basis through telephonic and email requests;
- Converting e-mail requests and holiday package requests into sales and revenue.;
- Responsible for offering and selling additional Travelstart products and 3rd Party products with every booking;
- Accurate completion of all new bookings, invoicing, amended bookings and all other administrative responsibilities within expected timeframe;
- Respond to all relevant inbound and outbound calls as required.;
- Respond and action all relevant email correspondence with customers within time requirement.;
- Strive to deliver a high standard of customer service and work output;
- Assisting, as a team, to implement "best practice" policies and procedures;
- Ensure all Sales targets set are reached to ensure sales and revenue while minimising errors and losses;
- Processing all fraud checks before issuing;
- After hours customer assistance where needed; and
- Weekend shifts as scheduled.
Technical skill requirements:
- Efficient working knowledge of Amadeus or Similar GDS;
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in the Retail Travel Industry;
- Fluent English and Afrikaans (written and verbal) essential; and
- Sales experience in the travel industry.
