Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00 - No weekends
Responsibilities/duties
- Diagnose the clients specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
- Organise travels, both domestic & international, from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc
- Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel holiday information
- Attend training to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
- Create and update electronic records of clients
- Maintain relationships with key clients
- Domestic & International Fares & Ticketing
- Domestic & International Re-issues
Availability
To Start 1st Oct or middle October (as soon as possible)
Salary
R12 000.00
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Proven working experience as a travel consultant
Excellent knowledge of the GDS – Amadeus System only – don’t want Galileo candidates
- Minimum 2 years experience with Amadeus & International ticketing
- Fares & Ticketing COTAC 1 & 2
- Travel & Tourism Diploma
- Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
- Demonstrable ability to handle crises
- Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international/business/holidays/groups/individuals)
