Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The main purpose of the position is to focus on relationship management, cost management and service management between Rennies Travel and the client with the view of growing and retaining profitability within Rennies Travel
Relationship Management
Manage relationships with clients, i.e. liaise with multi-level key contacts within the client organisation for the purposes of attraction, growth and retention of the clients
Develop, maintain and enhance relationships internally within Rennies Travel across the organisation for the purpose of improvement of delivery of service and solutions to clients
Facilitate the relationship between the client and Rennies Travel in order to match the needs of both client and Rennies Travel to ensure a win-win situation for both parties
Service management
Facilitate the contract and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Rennies Travel and the client and monitor and adjust the SLA accordingly
Monitor services as being delivered by Rennies Travel
Make recommendations for improvement of services to be rendered by Rennies Travel
Ensure that the client expectations are managed
Strategic value add
Analyse gaps in order to add value within the client organisation as per the client request
Provide innovative, pro-active solutions to clients to ensure retention and growth
BUSINESS PROCESSES
Cost saving
Request travel spend figures from the client for purposes of analysis in order to negotiate improved rates with the client ensuring a win-win situation for both Rennies Travel and the client
Benchmark current travel agreements of clients with Rennies existing client travel information packages and make recommendations on improved solutions for the client from a cost effective perspective
Review and make recommendation for improved travel polices for a particular client for purposes of cost savings for the client
Present the client with the quarterly review on Travel spend at Rennies and make recommendations for improved cost savings as well as highlighting policy adherence issues
Customer satisfaction
Conduct surveys with Rennies Travel customers to determine levels of customer satisfaction
Liaise with the Operations department and make recommendation in the event that the customer is dissatisfied with the service provided
Provide feedback to the customer timorously and in accordance with the service level agreement
Data maintenance
Update the data base ensuring that customers details are correct and maintained, i.e. voyager numbers, ID numbers, special requirements, etc.
FINANCIAL
Financial profitability
Ensure minimum 10% growth in support of preferred partners
Maintain, develop and optimise customer supplier relationships to ensure 100% customer retention
Ensure profitability for Rennies Travel by selling Account Management Days, Products, solutions and projects to clients in order to reach individual revenue targets as agreed with the Regional Account Manager

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
6 – 7 years experience in corporate account management / equivalent NQF Level 6
B Degree / equivalent NQF Level 6
