Rennies Travel would like to appoint an HRG Rennies Client Support / NBS dual role staff member in Port Elizabeth.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
60% - The position exists to ensure the meeting of our clients’ as well as Rennies Travels’ objectives through the strategic support functions and implementation of initiatives to achieve client retention, revenue growth and company profitability.
40% - Selling Rennies Travel’s products and services to corporate clients.

The incumbent is responsible for focused functions including:
- Driving business initiatives and solutions
- Selling Rennies Travel’s products and services with the aim of growing the business
- Managing relationships and service between Rennies Travel and the clients with the view to retaining clients and growing profitability
- Client cost analysis and management
- Providing business understanding to improve the overall travel management of the client
- Client review support
- Revenue generation support through fee management, identify cross- and up selling opportunities
- Creating client surveys for SLA measurement
- Understanding and assisting in managing clients’ SLA’s, travel policies and supplier agreements
- Assisting in facilitating the resolution of client queries and escalating where necessary
- Fee and contract management co-ordination
- Engaging with the BM regarding fee reviews and proposals
- Jointly developing and maintaining work and business plans
- Assisting with client advisory reports

- Intimate client knowledge and understanding. Driving personal service (profiles)

In addition to the above responsibilities, the role requires the individual to be well versed in the following marketing functions:
Functional Areas:
- Social Media – Working in conjunction with the Corporate Communications and Marketing team to develop and promote strategies to increase the fan base on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube by outlining a campaign calendar and conceptualising tactics to increase audience participation. Collaborate with all divisions to create relevant content and interactive media experiences through the social sites
- Marketing Campaigns – Prepare marketing campaign materials in conjunction with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams, as and when required. Prepare and distribute appropriate communication in line with HRG Rennies Travel Corporate Identity.
- Events Planning & Co-ordination – Implement and maintain Events calendar for the organisation and client base. Facilitate and co-ordinate all events aligned with Business Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Client and Preferred Supplier Strategies
- Promotional items Inventory Management – Responsible for the effective management and control of promotional items
- Market Research – Conduct market research as and when required
- Client Database Management – Keep up-to-date records of event attendees and all relevant client information and contact details
- Communication – Working closely with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to ensure best practice use of communication resources and technologies to facilitate professional messaging to all audiences.
- Continuously seek more appropriate forms of communication. Providing these suggestions and feedback to the Corporate Communications and Marketing Teams.
- Ensure correct use of bulk communication systems e.g. Rocketseed, DG communication, email and survey tools
- Analysis of effectiveness of communications, feedback and external research
- Manage and respond to queries and complaints received via website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
