Rennies Travel would like to appoint a top VIP Travel Consultant for General Electric – GCC.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provide an efficient and quality domestic, regional and international travel consulting experience to General Electric executives and other VIP’s on a 24-hour basis.
Manage complex International bookings for all other GE Travellers.
KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Provide excellent customer service:
- Completely handle all aspects of domestic, regional and International travel reservations for the VIP Travellers
- Priority handling of VIP reservations and requests, ensuring quality control
- Exceed the clients’ expectations regarding quality service delivery
- Ensure that Compliments and Complaints logs are accurately maintained
- Ensure relevant communication between HRG Rennies Travel, the client and GE travellers
- Support account management in conducting client reviews and facilitating surveys
- Provide support to account management where required
- Ensure that corporate agreements/ rates are correctly loaded and maintained, including loading of car vouchers
- Develop, maintain and enhance relationships internally within HRG Rennies Travel across the organisation for the purpose of improving service delivery and the provision of solutions to GE in support of client retention and growth
Operational/ Process management:
- Ensure that all technology related problems are correctly logged via the correct channel and that resolution is achieved
- Resolution of problems of an escalated operational nature with regards to clients, suppliers and staff
- Maintain, develop and optimise supplier relationships and growth to ensure 100% client retention and ensure supplier deals/specials are implemented effectively
- Ensure standardised procedures are followed by consultants and technology is used to ensure optimal performance and productivity
- Super-user role:
Receive, investigate and resolve travel/ system related queries
Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to
Ensure that all relevant travel operating systems are accurately and correctly maintained i.e. ensure that various components are maintained such as client files, vouchers, fees, corporate rates, etc.
Work with the Finance team to ensure that all invoicing information as well as supporting documentation is accurate and in line with client-specific requirements
Put processes in place to rectify any discrepancies, communicate to team and monitor.

Excel reports: ADM register, Compliments and Complaints register on Mobatch

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Travel Industry as a Senior Consultant
Diploma in Travel and Tourism
