Purpose: To create inspirational event experiences for corporate clients within the event management, live production, exhibition, incentive and conferencing market.
Job description:
· Build events from concept to execution within agreed structure and budget with the ability to handle more than one event at a time (multi-tasking).
· Sets sales budgets and financial goals & can see ways of achieving and growing them.
· Demonstrates effective negotiation skills that achieve a win/win outcome for all parties.
· Reports weekly to the Assistant Business Leader, the status of the workflow within your job, particularly identifying gaps and any critical periods.
· Communicates effectively with all audiences using written, graphic and verbal expression.
· Ensures customer, communication & financial systems are in place and adhered to.
· Ensures an effective buddy/back up system is in place for each client.
· Ensures team member minimum standards are in place and adhered to
· Understands and adheres to risk management policies.
· Demonstrates effective time management skills and meets deadlines

Qualification:
Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum 3 – 4 years’ full time event management experience – preferably with executing events for corporate companies
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to handle a high pressure environment
· Capacity to work evenings and weekends at events executed as well as travel
· Excellent articulation both written and verbal
· Microsoft Office (strong Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
· Understanding of basic finance principles and budget requirements
