Job Description
- Manage and lead a small team of Travel Consultants and handle day to day travel operations including leave management, after hours scheduling, team one-on-one’s, weekly team calls etc.
- Consult and attend to VIP EXCO as well as other general travel reservations including domestic, regional and international travel bookings
- Handle all elements relating to team management, administration, query resolution, compliment and complaint resolution, supplier engagement
- Work closely with the Travel Manager to identify efficiencies and help guide the travel team through operating processes and team training and mentoring
- Handle Team Leader reporting, including open ticket reports, call stats reports, consultant productivity and more.
- Ensure team adhere to standard operating practices and policies
- Oversee and support team members and clients on online booking platforms.
- After hours service – on a rotational basis

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism
- Galileo and Amadeus GDS certification
- Prior experience working on an online booking platform
- Advanced fares certification
- Min of 5 years working in a travel environment
- Min of 2 years working as a Team Leader managing a team of consultants
- Ability to work on Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Power Point and Word
