Job Description
The incumbent of this role will provide a facilitator’s role. Facilitators will be required to facilitate learning using a variety of methodologies, in a variety of contexts and to a Learnership Group based in Cape Town/Durban
Facilitators must facilitate learning to achieve foundational, practical and reflexive competence in learners within their scope of expertise against unit standards and qualifications registered on the NQF, using pre-designed learning material.
Core skills include dynamic personality, excellent presentation skills, confidentiality, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure is core and paramount

An ETDP Statement of Achievement for the following unit standards:
117871 Facilitate learning using a variety of methodologies (Level 5, 15 credits) or 117870 Conduct targeted training and development using given methodologies (Level 4 10 credits) (optional)
Minimum 2 years experience with at least 1 year being in a junior role in a similar organisation

General Details
- Must have proven record of training initiatives within team/organisation
- Must keep up to date with learning and development trends
- Must assist with needs analysis and programme developments
- Ability to troubleshoot and assist consultants remotely and on the job via remote access
- Proficient and proven track record of GDS knowledge preferred
- End to end coordination of training courses and programs
- Complete all reporting of monthly training completed
- Collection of attendance registers and follow up on non-attendance
- Facilitation of Learner Quarterly Progress Reports
- Assistance with upkeep of records to ensure compliance with CATHSSETA, NERA and SAQA related legislations
- Role needs analysis and projection of training
- Co-ordinate and deliver technical training as needed
- Provide reporting on technical trends
- Revising training material to ensure its in line with the current trends in the tourism industry
- Training material must be in line with the NQF and SAQA requirements
- Quality assure all training material
- Analyse training needs of learners
- Ensure professional delivery of all training
- Ensure training rooms are prepared prior trainings
- Ensure all manuals and documents are kept up to date and in supply
- Train, mentor, coach and provide examples of when they utilize these skills
- Assist in the departmental projects when required
