The role also requires reviewing and editing previously written content where necessary, producing written bid responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines. The role won’t only involve writing content for use in the bid, but also writing all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach.
The ability to enhance written communication visually through document production, desktop publishing and editing skills is a strong requirement.
Writing of original copy for a variety of marketing collateral, including but not limited to:
Communications: writing internal and external communications including newsletters, mailers, product sheets, client letters, website, social media platforms and media releases
Developing all content for execution of the Communication Strategy.
CREATION OF CUSTOMISED DOCUMENTATION
Development of proposal and bid strategies and the identification of key issues relating to the bid process
Development of strategic content and its presentation for sign-off at key stages of the bid process
Development of positioning documents and other corporate communication pieces that have strategic significance for our business, both internally and externally, using a variety of media.
STANDARDISATION OF COMMUNICATION
Ensure standardisation of all communication prepared by Corporate Communications
Formatting of communications to ensure consistent standard
Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of work to ensure deadlines are met
Checking for accuracy of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
GENERAL
Development of relationships of trust with internal stakeholders
Ability to interact with company MD and EXCO
Ensure all internal administration requirements are maintained and completed according to company standards
Proof-reading, editing and document production to produce high quality communications
Continuous enhancement of copy and content
Ensure efficient filing of documents on Sharepoint
Produce communication that is professional, error free and adheres to Rennies Travel Corporate ID
Research and gather information to ensure appropriate positioning of communication in line with market trends.

APMP Accreditation will be an advantage
