Qualification:
• Grade 12 (Essential)
• Appropriate IATA qualifications (This includes but is not limited to: IATA Fundamentals and Advanced Passenger Proration) (Essential)
• IATA Advanced Fares (Desirable)
• 3 years experience in Airline Revenue Accounting (Essential) with a focus on Proration and interline billing and settlement (Essential)
• With direct sales and/or BSP and/or lifts experience (Desirable)
• Knowledge of passenger fare construction (routing fares, currency rules, industry add-ons, the mileage system, global indicators etc) (Essential)
• Knowledge of Prorate Manual Passenger (PMP) and its application with regard to Multilateral Prorate Agreement -Passenger (MPA-P)(Essential)
• Knowledge of the “Amount to be Prorated” eg. round trip fares, circle trip special fares, minimum fares, stopover charges (Essential)
• Knowledge of the method of prorating i.e. straight-rate prorate (Essential)
• Computer literacy and MS Office skills,
• Analytical skills,
• Attention to detail,
• Verbal and Written Communication skills,
• Planning and organising skills
• Knowledge of IATA resolutions and IATA Revenue accounting manual, Passenger Services Resolutions, Agency Conference Resolutions
• Knowledge of airline deals structure
