5* Operation with luxury hotels in both Mozambique & Tanzania is currently looking to fill a junior role for a MARKETING & SALES ASSOCIATE to join the team.
Experience in the industry is preferred, this role has a high focus on marketing, with a backup sales admin role. Your responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:
Marketing
- A strong knowledge of social media is a must and the ability to proactively create content, manage, respond and plan the brand's social media, covering Facebook, TripAdvisor, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. in line with the marketing strategy.
- Monthly reports on website analysis, social media analysis, and Wetu analysis.
- Assist in developing and implementing product promotions, specials, and packages in conjunction with Marketing Manager
- Liaise closely with the Marketing Manager for development of promotions and trends
- Assist with writing newsletter content as well as content for regular blog postings.
- Assist with planning trade shows, stand design if necessary and meetings.
- Web marketing, updates, and statistical analysis
- Liaise with printer on printing of all materials, keeping track of inventory stock list and general deliveries
- Maintain Azura Retreats information on clients’ websites, affiliations and respond to requests for marketing information from clients.
- Coordinate press trips and follow ups
Sales
- Handle all sales related inquiries when Sales & Marketing Director and Sales Manager are not in the office/available
- Knowledge of markets, agents and trends in the markets
- Monthly reporting and analysis of reservations statistics
- Sending out of STO rates and keeping track of all signed agreements
- Market analysis- competitor research

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Min of 2 years’ sales and marketing experience
- Very strong social media skills and knowledge required for all platforms
- Administration skills, including strong Microsoft Office skills
- Creative writing skills, excellent written English
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Confidentiality
- People skills; tact and discretion when dealing with people
- Patient, good at listening and able to make sound judgments
- Work well under pressure
- Awareness and understanding of a variety of cultures
- Adheres to the highest ethical and business standards
