Job Description
The main objective of this role is to provide information, advice and booking services directly to our clients whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the Club Travel Corporate brand. This is achieved through exceeding the client’s expectations thereby creating long term relationships, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and offering customers the best deals most suited to their needs.
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Ascertain client’s needs and advise suitable products and services.
- Follow up on all quotes within 24 hours.
- Liaise with tour operators and other key partners such as hotels and airlines regarding bookings and schedules.
- Advise clients regarding car parking, car hire, transfers, accommodation, excursions and any other travel related services.
- Process clients booking including any special requirements.
- Ensure that the client has been informed of the conditions of travel, in writing, before payment is accepted, for example hotel cancellation policies.
- Collect payment from clients while adhering to Company policy on form of payment and payment procedures.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time.
- Make certain the conditions of travel are clearly stated on the itinerary.
- Ensure that the client is aware of Club Travel Corporate, and suppliers’, Terms and Conditions.
- Ensure that the Check List is completed and kept on file.
- Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where necessary.
- Manage and control own queues, Protas (internal automated information system)
- Assist other consultants when required.
- Check news on computer daily for updated knowledge and changes (TI).
- Ensure technical & product knowledge is updated regularly.
- Update and gain destination & product knowledge through Educationals.
- Attend industry workshops regularly.
- Arrange collection or delivery of travel documentation.
- Report technical faults to IT department.
- General administration.
- Remain flexible to the wider business needs of the company by rendering assistance for ad hoc projects and duties as required.
- Ensure that your workstation is manageable during the day and cleared at the end of the day.
- Emails to be managed on a daily basis, with only the relevant emails in the Inbox that you are still working on. Sent items to be cleared on a weekly basis in the applicable folders.
- Consultants need to have read and understood their corporate clients travel policy, know where to find information in the policy and keep it updated.

General Details
- Travel experience (either personal or professional)
- Minimum of 1 years corporate consulting experience
- Proficient in Galileo
- Good geography, destination and product knowledge is preferable
- Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about travel and people
- Computer literate
