The Group Team Leader position is a dynamic leadership role that comes with many responsibilities. The Group Team Leader is required to deliver their targets by creating a high performance and customer focused environment.
You are responsible for ongoing and supportive people development through training,
coaching and performance management along with promoting our commitment to our
people. The role involves working with STA Travel’s key global and local product suppliers as well as STA Head office support staff to ensure your team is knowledgeable on these products and able to deliver on the companies’ key performance indicators. You will also be required to comply with all of STA Travel’s standard systems and procedures, operational guidelines and performance requirements.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- 1-2 years’ experience in sales and exposure to staff management including training and mentioning
- Prior management experience of a groups travel team is essential
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- High level of attention to details
- Comprehensive international travel experience including travelled to at least one other continent
- Amadeus or GDS exposure is essential
- Matric certificate
- Travel and Tourism qualification is looked upon favourably
