• Sound knowledge of the conference industry in South Africa, especially with Government Clients
• Work well under pressure
• Team player but must be able to work independently and without supervision

Job Summary
Candidate must be able to successfully plan and execute a conference / event from the planning stage.
• Source and provide client with accurate proposals for all services required (venues, accommodation, décor, transfers etc.)
• Pre and post meetings with clients
• Rate Negotiations with suppliers
• Must be able to travel and coordinate events on site
• Must be willing to travel

R18-20KPM CTC (depending on experience)
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
• Diploma / Certificate in Event Management or similar (preferable)
• 3 Year experience as conference / event coordinator in South Africa.
• Ms Outlook / Word / Excel
• Galileo / Quicktrav
