Job Description
CUSTOMER INTIMACY
- Domestic, Regional and Basic International Travel Requests
- Receive travel requests from corporate clients
- Obtain the best possible options on rates from suppliers for car hire, hotel and airline for every client
- Provide the client with solid advice as to the client’s travel requirements
CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY
- Ensure excellent customer contact and service
- Strict adherence to the customer's travel policy and contractual supplier agreements
- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of customer profile information
- Ensure that all travel requests are aligned to customer travel policy and report any exceptions to the Travel Manager
BUSINESS PROCESSES
- Domestic, Regional and Basic International
- Assist with visa applications
- Order foreign exchange as per the clients requirements and ensure delivery to clients
- Load travel options via electronic travel approval system
- Arrange bookings as per the approved quote from the client
- Provide booking confirmation to the client once bookings have been made with suppliers
- Issue the travel documents, i.e. car hire, hotel and airline vouchers to the client via email
- Check-in senior management
FINANCIAL
- Revenue Maximisation
- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of fees charged
- Ensure maximum utilisation of preferred suppliers
- Responsible for accuracy and efficiency in all areas of consulting thus eliminating unnecessary financial loss
- Responsible for the travel card by weekly Reconciliation.
- Responsible for obtaining supplier invoices.
LEARNING & GROWTH
- Provide support for other staff members in the team.
- Self-development
- Make input and agree to the implementation of training and development according to Personal development plan
- Read and research information in order to remain abreast with changes within the market
- Read travel alerts, relevant travel publications (TNW) and keep abreast of destinations where travellers frequently go.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Certificate / Diploma in Travel and Tourism / equivalent NQF Level 5
- Computer literate with MS Office
- Galileo Reservation Certification
- Travelsoft
- Minimum 3 years corporate consulting experience
- Own transportation
- Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about travel and people
