Job Description
We are on the lookout for customer centric, Travel Adviser, who is self-motivated, creative, positive, organised and experts in creating FIT Holiday packages and meeting sales targets. Must have excellent travel and tourism product and geographical knowledge – we are looking for specialist who have a passion for the product they are selling, areas include South Africa, Africa and International product range and must have GDS experience.
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Travel and Tourism Certificate
- 5 years+ proven experience in creating holiday packages and consulting clients in a leisure or wholesale roleProven experience in costing of both international and domestic outbound travel packages and handling payments
- Working knowledge of Excel formulas and other MS Office Applications - Outlook, Office
- Extensive global product and geographical knowledge
- Travel Studio reservations quoting system experience an advantage
- Amadeus fares and ticketing experience
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Results orientated
- Strong organisational abilities
- Must be a team player and be able to work outside normal working hours from time to time
- Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure – can do attitude
