Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the support of an Mid-BackOffice application.
- Work closely with the line manager responsible for support and implementation activities.
- Day to day management of the support team
- Proactively manage the call loggings system (Zendesk) and tickets associated to customer requirements.
Functional Skills
- Knowledge of accounting and travel agency financial operations is a plus.
- Experience in any Mid or Back office system would be an advantage
- Travel industry knowledge is preferable
- GDS experience preferable
- Interpersonal Skills (Written and Oral)
- Organisational / Time Management Skills
- Proven experience on application teams with good problem solving & troubleshooting
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to correctly escalate as required
- Being able to categorize and prioritize tickets
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of current, travel-related, PC products and tools
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Email Applications
- Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the local guidelines – application support.
- Basic understanding of networks, connectivity, databases (useful not essential)
- Being able to differentiate between, a software fault, functional ticket and IT related (useful not essential)

Salary
Basic Salary 20kâ25k per month, including benefits - medical aid, retirement annuity, group life group disability
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- National Diploma in IT/ Business or finance (a plus, not essential)
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential, additional language is a plus (Portuguese/French)
- Call centre or customer service experience is a highly desirable
