Job Description
The main objective of this role is to be a member of the Centralised Ticketing Departrment issuing tickets for ITC's and internal customers whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the Company brand
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Double check the airfare and ticketing instructions given to you by consultant by checking on Ourweb / TI / GDS system.
- Clear queues every 30mins
- Ensure tickets are issued within the 1.5hr turnaround time.
- Ensure all bookings are sent to QC to be checked.
- Issue a minimum of 400 tickets a month
- Ensuring errors are kept below 10 and a ratio of 0.68 per month.
- Auto pricing and issuing of such tickets.
- Ensure all ticketing documentation is in place before issuing.
- Maintaining the structure that is in place in ticketing to ensure quick accurate delivery.
- Working as a team with other colleagues.
- Issuing of EMD's according to consultants instructions.
- Adhering to ticketing deadlines.
- Obtain credit card authority codes directly from the bank when passenger and card holder differ.
- Follow up on urgent bookings with a phone call.
- Ensure an SMS is sent for every booking that is rejected.
- Working according to processes and procedures put in place.
- Ensuring EFT payments are sent to relevant people.
- Ensure where possible all cash tickets are swopped for VNETT cards.
- Answer all calls within specified time
- Refer to the internal drive for all ticketing documentation.
- Any other requirements that may need to be completed.

General Details
- Minimum 1 year ticketing experience
- 1 GDS essential (preferably Sabre)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent customer relations
- Able to communicate well (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritise work
- Effective team player
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
