Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive, who is motivated and has a proven track record of working in the travel industry, face to face sales environment, who can increase the company's market share by delivering clients with our wide range of premium holiday products.
- Sales Executive must be a peoples person, that is customer centric and has a positive attitude with good relationship building attributes with clients and be an outstanding communicator.
- Sales Executive should also have a passion for the products he/she is representing and be a team player to ensure their success.
- In addition, you will also be required to increase brand exposure to the local Travel Agents and other relevant travel oriented markets and create a broader base of potential clients and ultimately grow profits.
Job Responsibilities
- The client is the most important component to being a successful Sales Executive and attending agent/client functions and promotions as the company representative within and outside of working hours will be regularly required.
- The primary job responsibilities will include maintaining a good rapport with the Travel Agency distribution channel and training travel agents on the company product range.
- Be available to the client and identify new business opportunities, customers, markets and potential products as well as being aware of competitor products and their offerings
- Have basic analytical ability and keep administration duties up to date and in a professional manner.
- Have a thorough knowledge of your sales figures.
- Reporting must always be accurate
- Lastly, a Sales Executive must know what the customer wants and needs - then provide a caring quality driven solution to all challenges presented
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Do you have the following qualifications, skills and attributes?
- 3 years previous direct Sales experience in the travel industry in an outbound travel industry sales environment
- Sales qualification from a recognized institution
- Code 8 Drivers License and own vehicle
- Extensive working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office Applications – (Outlook, Word), Sales force (an advantage)
- Experience in training product and destination training and conducting presentations
- Prepared to work outside of normal working hours
- Prepared to travel within South Africa and internationally
