Job Description
Is responsible for the sales of the corporates and travel agencies in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana and Zimbabwe. As manager of a team, the sales manager is responsible for building and executing the sales strategy and meeting the annual sales targets. The main objective is to maximize the corporate revenue and sales through travel agencies.
The successful sales manager manages and develops the sales team through coaching, motivation, sales skills development and product knowledge development.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Translation of yearly business plan into a sales strategy
- Meet targets in terms of revenue, new contracts and market shares
- Analysing and signalizing market trends and developments
- Monitoring of corporate and trade results and taking actions accordingly
- Ensure quality of service and commercial follow-up through both the sales team and the sales manager self
- Steering on sales processes and ensuring proper executing of commercial and sales policies

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Relevant tertiary education
- Experience in travel or airline industry essential
- Excellent knowledge of MS office applications
- Sales or relevant commercial experience essential
