KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead by example and be available to your team
- Co-ordinate department activities to ensure quality and meet turnaround times.
- Evaluate department processes. Recommend and co-ordinate needed changes with General Manager.
- Supervise team members in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist team members to resolve operational problems and customer complaints.
- Empower team members to act.
- Keep a record of all consultant errors for training purposes.
- Manage team morale and incentives, recognition, fun days and team building projects.
- Schedule and assist in conducting team meetings.
- Assist Manager in conducting interviews, hiring new team members, and providing employee orientation.
- Ensure relevant training is implemented and given to all new employees so that they may manage their level of responsibility.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Conflict management
- Assist Manager in establishing employee goals and conducting employee performance reviews.
- Responsible for team scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, leave, breaks, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
- Responsible to meet department productivity goals.
- Communicate with other Team Leaders and Managers.
- Ensure a positive image of Flightsite is always maintained
- Build and maintain a professional relationship and effective communication with all departments of Flightsite and Club Travel.
- Remain flexible to the wider business needs of the company by rendering assistance for ad hoc projects and duties as required
- Assist clients telephonically or via email
- Acknowledge all online queries within 1 hour
- Ascertain client’s needs and advise suitable products and services.
- Assist clients telephonically and/or via e-mail with any website queries
- Issue all low cost carrier bookings made on the website or in store
- Process clients’ bookings including pre-seating, meals and any special requirements.
- Ensure that the client has been informed of the conditions of travel, in writing, before payment is accepted.
- Inform clients of Flightsite’s Terms and Conditions as well as those of the suppliers.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Minimum 2 years consulting experience
- Thoroughly understand Flightsite’s systems and procedures
- Amadeus & ProTAS proficient
- PC Literate especially in MS Office packages
KEY MEASURES
- Increase in team productivity and revenue ratio.
- Achieve overall rating of 3 in 360 degree Performance Review with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
