FIXED TERM CONTRACT (TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE)
The main objective of this role is to provide information, advice and booking services directly to our clients whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the Company brand. This is achieved through exceeding the client’s expectations thereby creating long term relationships, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and offering customers the best deals most suited to their needs.
KEY DUTIES
- Managing clients’ travel reservations from initial request to completion; this includes coordinating airline, hotel, car rental, and other travel needs for clients.
- Process cancellations, alterations and informing customers when a flight has been delayed or cancelled
- Listen and guide the conversation to solve problems in a timely manner with all types of customers in all circumstances
- Remain current on value we provide to each customer
- Adapt and change as requirements of the business change
- Be responsive to client’s needs and issue resolution with excellent communication and follow up

- Read and understand corporate clients travel policy // Read and understand the department’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Travel Policy.
- Assist your colleague’s clients if and when necessary.
- Ascertain client’s needs and advise suitable products and services.
- Prepare and process quotes within time frame set by clients Service Level Agreement.
- Follow up on all quotes within 24 hours.
- Build professional relationships with clients to ensure client retention.
- Book all travel related services (flights & ground) either on Galileo GDS, website or with supplier in accordance to the clients travel policy
- Liaise with tour operators and other key partners such as hotels and airlines regarding bookings and schedules.
- Advise clients regarding passports, visas, health requirements, foreign exchange, travel insurance, car parking, car hire, transfers, accommodation, excursions and any other travel related services.
- Process clients booking including pre-seating, meals and any special requirements.
- Ensure that the client has been informed of the conditions of travel
- Ensure client’s booking file is updated
- Adhering to Company policy on form of payment and payment procedures.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time.
- Make certain the conditions of travel are clearly stated on the itinerary.
- Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where necessary.
- Follow up with each client after their International trip for feedback on services provided.
- Manage and control queues.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded on the afterhours Log daily, and fees are collected for every transaction booked on afterhours.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- At least 3 years recent, GDS experience on Galileo/Amadeus required,
- Experience arranging domestic and international travel for multiple corporate clients
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of international and domestic routings, airfares contracts
- Capability to setup ticketing and exchange tickets
- Excellent geographical familiarity and aptitude, impeccable work ethic, great communication skills, and attention to detail.
