Fourways based agency seeks a special dynamic individual for the very special position of Rates & Product Manager - Maldives. The correct candidate should present a firm understanding when it comes to hotel contract rates & present experience in working in similar positions, loading rates to systems and managing the relationship with resorts directly.
Duties Include
- Accompanying FAM trips & Rate negotiation trips to Maldives
- Rate Management, discussions, analysis and interpretation
- Identifying Rate opportunities for marketing
- Loading contracted rates to bookings systems
- Managing and updating rates to booking systems
- Loading stop sell notifications, withdrawal of rates and other updates.
- Basic update to website including ROE updates.
- Liaising with the marketing team and providing periodical updates where required.
- Reporting to management on success of campaigns and products

Salary
R20,000 CTC Negotiable
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- At least 5 years experience in the travel industry
- Exposure to leisure industry is preferred
- Firm command of English and Afrikaans languages
- Full knowledge around working with hotel contracts, special offers
- Confident in rate calculation and double checking system rates
- Ability to work individually or part of a team
