Job Description
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. All aspects of processing, checking and issuing of all travel documentation:
2. Fares knowledge and understanding;
3. Good knowledge of Quicktrav required for:
- Credit card swipes & receipting;
- DI lines in PNR’s for automatic invoicing;
4. Good knowledge of various commission / service fee collecting
schemes such as Travel Buy and TASF
5. Ensuring ITC Debtors Lists are controlled and never outstanding à cross-pollination with finance
department imperative and therefore teamwork essential;
6. Adhering to eTravel’s ‘Cleared Funds Policy’;
7. All related administrative functions in order to facilitate the back office support given to ITC’s;
8. All other related Admin functions

Qualification:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Matric;
- Travel Course from a recognized Tertiary Institute;
- Computer literacy – Microsoft Windows Environment (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Galileo and Amadeus Qualification
- Fares and International ticketing;
- Core Ticketing / e Ticketing essential;
- Very good communication skills a must;
- High level of service-orientated individual required;
- Proactive and uses initiative well;
- Definite Team Player;
- Guide and help train Juniors
- Patient and Good People Skills
- Good Administration skills

General Details
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years related retail travel experience as a consultant in a Travel Agency and
2 years ticketing experience on both Amadeus and Galileo.
Professional Characteristics:
A disciplined, accurate, service-oriented, self-motivated, passionate individual is required for this position within a dynamic, growing organisation. The ability to function successfully under stressful conditions, while adhering to strict deadlines as a team player is essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
