Working as a wholesaler and on the retail side, we are now looking for a sales driven, professional, passionate and ambitious individual to join us. Qualification:
Overview: We require a leisure sales consultant with the confidence to jump right in straight away. Training and support will be provided however the successful individual must be able to work independently, be completely trustworthy, dedicated to the job and have a passion for travel. The position is heavily email and telephone based and previous email based quoting and selling will be to your advantage. The successful applicant must be able to show a good capacity for learning and an eagerness to take on new skills and development. A high level of customer service is demanded. Position will require multi-tasking.

Qualities/ Skills and Experience:
• Passionate for travel, learning and self growth
• Good communicator both over the phone and written
• Proven sales track record
• Likes to work as part of a small tight knit team
• Has own transport
• Tourism diploma preferable
• Excellent knowledge of Amadeus/ proficient in ticketing preferable
• Minimum 2-3 years travel agency experience
• Excellent computer and internet proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Fluent in English, good communicator both written and verbally, Afrikaans literacy an advantage
• Travel experience preferable
• Organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Target Driven and Sales focused

General Details

Tasks including but not limited to:
• Assisting clients telephonically or via email
• Create itineraries
• Consult and advise on holidays
• Calculations in Excel
• Organize and book itineraries, including invoicing and follow ups
• Manage day to day client relations and enquiries
• Initiate improvements and make suggestions to the current business practise
• Share workload with manager whenever necessary taking on additional tasks including but not limited to product sourcing/writing
• Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time.
• Manage and control own deadlines and Amadeus Queues.
