Job Description
Reporting directly to the CEO, the role requires a versatile, diverse, and experienced HR generalist who has a proven successful record of leading and delivering all aspects of HR and Training and Developing programs with dedication and passion, whilst keeping abreast with changes in employment legislation. It will be expected of the candidate to have sound knowledge of legislation regarding BBBEE and Employment Equity. The Snr HR Generalist will be responsible for developing and implementing the HR planning of the company and will produce accurate HR reports monthly to provide accurate information to the Management Team. The main objective of this role is to provide support in the various resource functions by supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- In conjunction with the HR Manager, be responsible for all HR Management and development (including recruitment and selection, policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, contracts, training and development, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and any other HR related issues.

- Relevant degree/diploma or +5 years of relevant years of demonstrated HR management knowledge and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical working experience in an HR administration role.
- Understanding of the principles of LRA, BCEA, POPIA, and SDA requirements.
- Excellent IT skills: competency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Email, Excel, and Internet Explorer
- A working knowledge of computerised HR systems (Sage and Google forms experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and juggle a busy workload.
- Proactive always and able to work on own initiative without supervision.
- The ability to form effective relationships with people at all levels and to communicate well over the telephone, face-to-face, and in writing.
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll procedures
- Proactive and able to assimilate new information quickly.
- Highly diplomatic and discrete with the ability to handle highly sensitive matters.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of the additional language is an advantage.
- Proactivity to spot potential problems early.
- Be able to advise both employees and managers on personnel issues.
- Possess competent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess effective organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on deadline.
