Job Description
- Directs the solicitation of resources of passenger business within designated territory, including TMC, travel agency general sales, commercial accounts, government accounts, and the public.
- Analyse and evaluate travel need and revenue potential of prospects in SA territory.
- Implement sales promotion plan, adverting, direct sales, PR plans and control advertising and promotion costs.
- Collect and compiles market information from BSP, DDS, and other internal tools to analyse performance of agencies assigned and the competitive landscape.
- Closely work with travel agencies
- Reports market activities of competing brands
- Recommends areas of Adv& promotion support is needed for his/her target sales objective to be met.
- Plans and prepares territorial call patterns for solicitation of business.
- Submits daily call reports, weekly competitor analysis, fare analysis and other reports as required.
- Participate in in important trade fairs and exhibitions.
- Provide Services to airline clients by providing product training of product to other travel agents.
- Brining in new business, analyse and evaluate the transportation needs and sources of passenger and cargo business
- Review and resolve claims and complaints
- Building and maintaining business relationships
- Fulfils speaking engagements on before agencies, airlines, business companies, civic and social groups and others.
- Evaluates and recommends the division of sales territories and assign resources necessary to accomplish sales objectives.
- Solicits and arrange for sales promotion tie-in advertising with other companies.
- Arrange and provide trainings and product/service briefing to travel agencies and others.
- Customer Service
- Handles passenger reservations, customized needs and travel plans of key accounts and passengers.
- Directs all sales and services activities within the Area.
- Monitors sales activities and evaluates sales performance of the stations.

General Details
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial Aviation Sales (Preferably on managerial position as Sales Manager or at least Senior level Consultant at Airlines or TMCs/Agencies)
- Brief Travel Industry knowledge and experience as a sales representative in South Africa

- High skill on digital usage (social media and others)
- Excellent application skills (Power point Excel, word, Visio and others)
- Well conversant with SABRE, Amadeus, and Galileo
- Excellent interpersonal, Communication and presentation skills
- Excellent command of English
- Valid driver’s license
