Job Description
- Attend, provide assistant, intervene and follow up on all queries and requests from direct passengers (South Africa / Namibia)
- Reply to phone and attend visiting clients in a positive manner so as to satisfy their requirements.
- Use appropriate tools, travel information manual or tariff manual and other relevant references to obtain information and details of airline.
- Apply tariff principles, rules and regulations to quote air fares relative to the itinerary of clients.
- Issue air tickets and EMD´s
- Delays - Handle flight delays and cancellations – Rebooking, Rerouting, Reissues, Broadcast etc.
- Make every effort convert encounters with clients into reservations and sales
- Attend and follow up claims as per airline standards – tickets, complaints, refunds, etc.
- Abide to all airline standards, policies, and procedures.
- Proper filing of documents
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- IATA Diploma
- Amadeus Certificate
- At least 2 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills
- Customer oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of latest trends
- Team player
