The Airline Airport Ticketing Agent is responsible for assisting passengers with their travel needs at the airport. Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Ticketing and Reservations:
o Issue and reissue airline tickets and boarding passes.
o Manage reservations and provide assistance with booking changes, cancellations, and special
requests.
o Verify travel documents and ensure passengers comply with airline and government regulations.
- Customer Service:
o Address passenger inquiries and resolve issues related to tickets, baggage, and travel itineraries.
o Handle complaints and provide solutions to ensure passenger satisfaction.
- Sales and Promotions:
o Promote and sell additional services such as extra baggage and seat upgrades
- Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions and reservations.
o Prepare daily reports and reconcile cash and credit card transactions.
o Ensure compliance with airline policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Communication and Coordination:
o Coordinate with other airport staff, including gate agents, baggage handlers, and security
personnel where applicable.
o Communicate any changes or updates to passengers promptly.
o Assist during flight disruptions, delays, and cancellations to provide alternative travel solutions.
