To always enforce The Travel Group’s best practice procedures with no grey areas. Lead with innovation that will improve the business's financial structure & policy. Take great care of our People, Clients & Suppliers. Ensuring there is consistent support, quick response times & flawless service delivery. Identify & protect our business from possible financial risks. Be an overall guardian of The Travel Group's financial well-being.
The primary purpose of this role is to investigate & reallocate Creditor amounts that have been misallocated. This will require a highly solution-focused, proactive approach & good financial acumen.
Other Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Bank & Accounting Software recons, accounting for all transactions. Daily & Monthly recons to be 100% finalized within 24H.
- Debtors & Creditors are to be well managed, should accounts be out of terms then best practice procedures are to be followed.
- All client payments that do not match to a statement amount must be accompanied with a remittance & allocated within 48H of payment date.
- Business & Consultant Account Codes are to be cleared monthly, at month end all items for that month must be 100% finalized and not just moved into the following month.
- Coach and develop teams financial weaknesses
- Recognize good financial performance within the team
- Prepare for weekly Senior Leadership Innovation Meeting and once monthly month end review Meeting.
- Always enforce business structure without fail
- Identify area’s of concern or risk within the business. Lead the way with a solution-based approach to overcoming these challenges.
- Provide Financial Support to our clients, hosting Finance Meeting with key clients at least once a year.
- Be the lead person in identifying concerns clients may have in regard to our financial procedures, thereafter putting solutions in place whilst keeping the client informed at all times
- Ensure every cent in the business is accounted for and reconciled. Should there be any red flags you are to advise the leadership team and lead an in-depth investigation.
- Assist with the Budget, Goal & Business Plan creation for the business once a year with the Leadership Team
- Be highly self-disciplined & organized
- Month end & roll over
- Implement & enforce brand identity structure
Competencies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Experience in finance and financial reporting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in creating financial statements
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools
- Supplier loading onto QuickTrav, if urgent done immediately and if not done within 1 hour.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- QuickTrav experience non-negotiable
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field an advantage.
