Job Description
- To supervise, oversee, coach, mentor and support a team of consultants to ensure that the company’s policies, procedures, and quality management standards are adhered to.
- Monitor and maintain all internal processes and procedures in accordance with ISO requirements
- Monitor and maintain quality through checking team compliance to client SLA’s
- Supervise and manage all ADM’s, PIR’s, Accounting queries and refunds
- Understand and apply relevant knowledge to manage cost versus expenditure (budgets etc.)
- Understand and drive team performance in order to increase GP
- Provide support, guidance, and training to subordinate levels and new employees
- Monitor workflow and ensure output is timeous / accurate and complete in your team
- Continuously monitor capacity with the teams and ensuring that an effective shift roster is in place
- Guiding and assisting all consultants within the team with problems and queries
- Ascertain training requirements
- Conduct disciplinary processes in conjunction with the HR Department
- Support and promote change management
- Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and ensure continuous mentoring to facilitate achievement of targets
- Understand and analyse reports, to identify error trends in conjunction with business development managers
- Ensure that clients are informed at first contact of all travel requirements

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Competency in English Business Writing – Advanced Level
- Diploma/certificate in Travel & Tourism

General Details
- Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Senior Travel consultant
- 3 years’ experience in a management role
