Job Description
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services, and/or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Generate new leads & cold calling prospective customers.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business.
- Create a sales pipeline.
- Meet with customers / clients face to face or over virtual platforms.
- Powerpoint Presentation of services offered to potential clients
- Attend workshops when necessary.
- Prepare presentation packs
- Review client proposals / fee structures
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders
- Proofreading of documents and tender submissions
- Sourcing, analyzing and evaluating tender opportunities
- Attending briefing sessions and collecting tender document
- Maintain contact with Operations to ensure all apportunities are communicated and maintained.
- Managing co-ordinating all relevant customer accounts with clients at all level as well as within ZAP Travel
- Update Database / CRM
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
- Existing client servicing
- Weekly Sales Meetings / Updates
- Client / Supplier Events / Site Inspection / Workshops / Educational.

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years Travel Management Industry Experience
- Financial management, advice to clients on cost saving initiatives and saving methodology
- Proven track record in sales.
- Previous tender experience
- Excellent communication skills (writing in particular)
- Very High Attention to Detail
- Strong admin skills
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
