To compile domestic, regional and complex multi-faceted international travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PERFORMANCE AREA RESPONSIBILITY
- Receive travel requests from the client
- Ensure delivery of SLA’s and the agreed turnaround time
- Obtain the 3 best possible options from all suppliers for every client
- Compile quotations to HWT Broadacre standard template and forward it to the client
- Arrange booking as per the approved quotation from the client
- Provide the booking confirmation once the reservation has been completed
- Receive the order number or approval from the client which confirms acceptance of the quote and proceed to issue the documents i.e. airline tickets, car and hotel vouchers etc.
- Ensure you have checked and fulfilled all visa, health, insurance requirements on international bookings
- Ensure any airline and hotel loyalty numbers are recorded in the booking
- For international bookings, ensure that travel insurance has been offered. If declined, an indemnity form must be completed and kept on file
- Ensure special meal requests have been booked timeously
- Forward the completed documents to the client via email
- Read and research any information to remain informed of any changes within the market.
- Offer any ancillary services such as restaurant bookings, etc.
- Be willing to research and give advice on hotels, restaurants, rail options etc.
- Client profile management
- Effective usage and understanding of all systems and technology
- Adoption of new technology, OBT etc.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Follow up on any unapproved bookings before leaving the office each working day
- Monitor PNR and queues
- Manage refunds to clients
- Endeavour to use preferred suppliers
- Offer additional value add services to increase revenue streams
- Provide sales leads where possible
- Available to take calls 24/7 from customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Willingness and ability to work late on occasion in order to complete any tasks that are not able to be left until the next day
- Responsible for the HWT-Broadacres in-house 24-hours emergency cell phone on a rotational basis
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
- Diploma in Travel and Tourism
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- 10 years’ experience in a senior consultant position
- Proficiency on Sabre or Amadeus
- Proficiency in booking all aspects of domestic, regional and point-to-point international corporate and international leisure
- 100% usage of automation through our technology platforms.
- Experienced in Corporate and leisure VIP travel and concierge level service
- Independent Travel Consultant willing to grow their business with possible revenue share.
