Job Description

To ensure the successful planning, initiation, management and completion of any assigned projects, and to fulfil this role for the IT department for any projects in which the department is involved. To ensure the succesful planning, initiation and implementation of customer technology solutions.
Initiation, planning, managing, completion and handover of business projects

• Control a number of Projects simultaneously
• Effective skills in using shared Resources and third parties to accomplish project undertaking
• Able to draw up Project Plans - MS Project an advantage
• Negotiation Skills
• Time management skills
• Human Resource skills
• Understand new In-house requirements, decommissioning of In-house requirements.
• Change Management skills
• Team skills as leader and participant
• Deadline driven
The ability to act quickly to changes in the environment. The ability to manage deviations and caveats. Cope in a high pressure environment. Behaviour to reflect leadership qualities and to earn the respect of stakeholders and a strong character to ensure all resources are committed to the success of projects. Facilitation of various stakeholdersacross project and management landscape.

Qualification:
Matric Certificate
Project Management Certification e.g. PMBOK, Prince will be an advantage

3 years experience in similar role.
