Key Responsibility of the Key Account Executive

Ensure that clients are visited and spoken to on a regular basis, both telephonically and face to face. Advise clients of yearly features relevant to their business and renew contracts, ensuring mutually profitable long term relationships are built with clients.

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
Requirements for Key Account Executive
• Dynamic personality, able to integrate with a team
• Good written and telephonic English communication skills
with the ability to handle internal and external partners with diplomacy
• Computer skills – MS Office, Internet, email and CRM
• Good admin skills
• Someone who has experience in the retail or wholesale travel industry.
• Matric and travel qualification an advantage
• Valid drivers’ license and own car

Responsibilities

Building Relationships
1. Liaise with editorial and production teams
2. Ensure that clients are visited and spoken to on a regular basis. Distributing the TNW to all clients on a weekly basis
3. Advise clients of yearly features relevant to their business.
4. Renew contracts
5. Make sure clients supply material on time
6. Be a marketing strategist, analyst and consultant. Build strong long term relationships by working with advertising decision makers, understanding their needs and suggesting promotional solutions

Promotions and Brand Development
1. Attending client / industry functions, trade shows and exhibitions
2. Maintain a high commitment to customer focus and creation of value adding. This requires a detailed understanding of industry trends and customer needs

Events, Coordination, sales trips and Admin
1. Completing sales-related and marketing administrative projects including running marketing and sales reports and conducting research on clients on behalf of sales team and developing media packs/product catalogue
2. Assist sales team with planning and implementation of sales visits and trips.
3. Providing personal and administrative support to divisional head. The support includes running errands, coordinating travel arrangements, prepare appointments and agendas.
4. Coordinating catered events
