Abridged Job Description:
• Overall Accountability & leadership of the Reservations and Ticketing department for Southern Africa;
• Pricing, Revenue Management and Fares Communication, Policy and Management;
• Administration & Implementation of all commercial contracting;
• Rebate, refunds, duty travel management;
• Performance Management of Staff including development & succession planning;
• Relationship Management with key internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
• Excellent communication, business writing & interpersonal skills;
• Ability to make decisions, apply discretion;
• High level of integrity and confidentiality is required in this role;
• Availability in terms of working undefined hours is crucial;
• Travelling to Mauritius will be required for training and meeting purposes;
• People Management experience is required; a minimum of 4 years;
• Advanced fares knowledge is essential;
• Amadeus reservation system knowledge is essential;
• Computer literacy (Excel and Power Point) is important;
• 4 years airline experience in a supervisory, team leader or management role is essential;
• Advanced fares knowledge is critical
• Good understanding of the Travel Industry Segmentation is also important.
• Matriculation/Grade 12 is compulsory (with Mathematics as a subject listed)
• Tertiary education (Certificate/Diploma) in Travel/Business also an advantage
