PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To effectively manage the fulfilment of corporate travel bookings and to assist in ensuring the smooth running of the travel office.
KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
• Supervise a team of consultants
• Strong focus on quality control and accuracy
• Ensure only the highest level of service is delivered and continuously coach and mentor staff with the aim of improvement of performance
• Continuously investigate opportunities for processes improvement
• Address and manage HR and disciplinary related issues
• Monitor morale and motivate staff
• Read and research information in order to remain abreast with changes within the market
• Receive and resolve travel queries from clients, e.g. provide assistance to the client in the event that they are stranded, missed the flight, etc.
• Oversee the enforcement of the client travel policy.
• Ensure excellent customer contact and service by assisting the travel team in providing an error free service.
• Provide booking confirmation to the client once bookings have been made with suppliers
• Confirm final travel bookings with the client
• Receive and resolve queries from clients as it relates to account queries

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required (not negotiable)
• Retail travel industry (6 years)
• People management experience (3 years)
Advantageous (nice to have)
• Supplier management experience
• Training experience
• Desire to grow, customer driven, and able to handle pressure
• Ability to work shifts, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays (Compensation in line with Labour Law requirements)
