Job Description
The successful applicant will be required to take care of all sales and promotional aspects of the Wendy Wu Tours products and services.
The key areas of responsibility include:
* Reporting to the Business Development Manager
* Generate and increase Business within Gauteng and from time to time in the other provincial areas given.
* Actively source new business opportunities.
* Participate in marketing events such as presentations, sales calls, training, client evenings,
seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
* Updating travel agents on a regular basis with regard to new products and services.
* Providing an immediate response to travel agent’s needs, queries, problems and requests by
liaising with reservations.
* Providing a high level of service to ensure customer satisfaction
* Developing, maintaining and fostering close relationships with travel agents.
* Assisting at the office with reservations when needed.
The following attributes are a pre-requisite:
* Good general and destination knowledge of the Far East, travel experience to the countries will count in the applicants favor
* A relevant travel and tourism qualification will count in the applicants favor
* Previous travel experience.

* Available to attend and promote our Company at all times – Cocktail functions, educational and other after hour activities
* Able to speak fluent English.
* He/she must have a valid driver’s license.
* Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
