Summary:
• Overall management of Conference and Events on behalf of large government and corporate clients
• Must have the ability to do conceptual design
• Tender negotiations
• Presentation skills
• Capable of managing and meeting monthly targets
• Setting up and managing budgets – Staff Travel, Client quotations and internal costs
• Maintain and build relationship with existing clients and suppliers
• Strategic planning to market conferencing and events to new clients
• Set up and managing of Project Plans
• On Site Conference and Event management
• Able to prepare after conference summary report
• Resolving Client complaints
• Managing staff nationally
• Setting up systems, procedures and control
• Able to work well under pressure, flexible and able to travel
• Exposure to national media
• Good financial skills
• Knowledge of managing incentive programs

Qualification:
Minimum Requirements:
1. Grade 12
2. National Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management
3. 5-10 years conference management experience
4. Management of a team consisting of at least 15 people
