Job Description
This marketing role is responsible for executing the marketing strategy in the areas of online advertising and promotions, partnerships, email, intranet and mobile.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Effective online presentation and merchandising of STA Travel's Promotions (Major Marketing Campaigns, Tourist Boards, Newsletter etc.). Working collaboratively with other Marketing team members and with the Product team.
Drive customer engagement on key website pages
Enhance website content to inspire customers and engage them
Deliver the Website Strategy as defined by Marketing Manager
Make recommendations for improving online customer experience by evaluating website performance and identifying developments of interest on other websites
Plan, produce and distribute Weekly Newsletters and Ad-hoc Emails, accurately and on time
Deliver regular and ad-hoc SMS Campaigns
Provide Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly performance reports with commentary
Drive customer engagement in the Emails (Open Rates and Click-through)
Deliver the CRM Strategy as defined by Marketing Manager
Contribute to ad-hoc company projects and deliverables on behalf of the online team, as required

R8,500 per month plus R500 medical aid contribution

Requirements
Passion for the internet, technology and travel
Experience working with Email Marketing Systems
Experience working with CMS systems
Self-motivated to develop and ability to learn quickly
Effective time management with the ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
Ability to write clear, articulate and creative content, with excellent English language skills
Ability to work as part of a team and develop meaningful working relationships
Keen eye for detail
