Job Description

The incumbent of this role is responsible for managing operational facilities, logistical and front desk office services. To ensure that the company provides a well maintained and safe environment for employees. The purpose also includes a wide variety of procurement of and administrative duties.

Qualification:
 Procurement method and procedure of a centralized purchasing function and Contract Law
 Office Management Principles
 OHSA and Regulatory Requirements
 Accounting Principles

General Details

 Assess and record building maintenance i.e. assess the current state of air conditioning, plumbing and other facilities and equipments
 Ability to manage the space of the building
 Ensure that all equipments and facilities are working properly
 Develop a system for evaluation
 Initiate safety campaign measure for the business
 Educate workers on the correct usage and care of equipments and facilities
 Establish the policy and procedures that will govern the use of equipments and facilities
 Acquisition and selection of the best contactor
 Coordinate and supervise the work of the contractor to ensure that the work is completed satisfactorily and timeously
 Constantly follow up on any deficiencies and make arrangements for contractors payments
 Negotiate service level agreements and rates with suppliers
 Liaise with the Health and Safety department in respect of good health, security and safety
