The Asst Hotel General Manager will assist the GM in assuming full operational ( Rooms Division & F&B ) and profit responsibility for a 42 roomed -hotel with various F&B outlest

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
•Diploma in Hotel Operations and Management
•Hotel school training is preferred
•Minimum one (3 +) year or more experience in a similar position
•Knowledge of food and beverage departments will be a definite advantage
•Work under pressure and time constraints
•Fluent written and spoken English, German will be a distinct advantage
•Computer literacy essential – proficient in MS Office package & OPERA system

•Efficient operation and cost control of all Hotel departments and facilities
•Preparing and Managing budgets and financial plans and expenditure control
•Maintaining statistical and financial records
•Setting and achieving internal hotel sales and profit targets
•Driving excellency in customer service and in all service provisions
•High level of customer interaction
•Effectively dealing with customer expectations and comments
•Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, labour law and other statutory regulations
•Ensure the Hotel has an operational and functional Health & Safety committee
•Exceptional leadership skills to lead, manage, motivate, develop and mentor staff, empowering employees to meet the company objectives.
