Job Description

Responsible for the promoting and selling of group travel and holiday arrangements by providing world class service in order to achieve sales targets in line with company goals.

R15 000 CTC (Excluding Commission)

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
* Travel Diploma
• Minimum 5 experience in years’ experience in handling groups and incentive travel packages
• Demonstrate excellent global product knowledge
• Manage potential and existing group bookings from inception to completion
• Computer literacy – MS-Word, Excel, MS-Outlook
• Experience with Amadeus or other GDS system
• Experience in reading an understanding Contracts and Service Level Agreements
• Experience in constructing costings and travel itineraries for group proposals and presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong calculation and negotiation skills
• Must have an understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Efficient, organized, methodical & analytical
• Able to handle pressure
• Good Administrative skills: A commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Comfortable presenting to potential clients
• Make sure that targets that are set each financial year are met.
• Must be influential and persuasive
• Must be able to work in a team and be great team player
• Must be confident, efficient, friendly, organised and have the ability to work under pressure
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be able to travel
