Job Summary:
Deliver an effective and efficient HC service to line management and employees
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and selection, Skills development and employment equity initiatives ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Performance Management and People development
* Promote and maintain sound employer and employee relations in line with statutory requirements
* Ensure personnel records are up to date, Manage absenteeism
* Facilitate the management of disciplinary and grievances
* Advise line managers on appropriate Industrial Relations avenues
* Assist in the formulation of the charges.
* Advise, coach and support line on the implementation of HR policies and procedures, as well as provide solutions
* HR reporting and administration
* Coordinate development plans with specific objectives and target dates when required
* Act on feedback about development barriers
* Drive employment equity and health and safety
Knowledge
Working knowledge of Employment Equity Act
Working knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act
Working knowledge of Labour Relations Act
Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
Knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques
Intermediate Word, Excel and Power point
Report writing

Qualification:
Minimum Education Required:
HR Diploma/Degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required:
At least +5 years HR generalist experience
