Job Description

Coastal Branch based in Century City (reporting to Operations Director: eTravel)

Position Description

Duties will include:
1. Management and operation of the entire Travel Function for the Coastal Region
2. Customer focused liaison and service (existing ITC’s)
3. Focus on potential ITC’s by selling the eTravel dream and concept
4. Management information – to head office
5. Budgets and Forecasts
6. Employee management and development
7. Liaising with the Coastal preferred suppliers on a day to day level only
8. Implementation, analysis, monitoring and assessment of policies and procedures
9. Participation in Management Team and congruency with major disciplines (finance, wholesale)

1. Travel and Tourism Diploma
2. Galileo & Amadeus Literacy
3. Fares 3
4. BSP Accreditation

Experience:
1. 10 years related travel experience – domestic, regional and international
2. 5 years Travel Management Experience – incorporating staff and process management
Professional Characteristics:

A highly professional, service-oriented, self-motivated individual is required for this challenging and evolving position within a dynamic, growing organisation. The ideal incumbent should be results-driven, and be interested in a long-term career in eTravel. Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills are essential – to facilitate liaison with Coastal ITC’s and management of staff. The successful incumbent must be able to work independently of supervision, reporting to head office on strategic issues only.
