Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive’s job purpose is contribute to business growth by acquiring new business and identifying new business opportunities through networking, lead generating and relationship building with prospective clients and through suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
* Research and build relationships with new clients.
* Plan approaches and pitches.
* Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
* Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
* Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
* Conduct proposal presentations to the prospective client
* Facilitate and manage the overall inception of the business relationship between the new client & TMC
* Reporting on, and researching the local market – competitor activity and analysis, lost business opportunities, market trends, market mapping, exploring new business innovation ideas.
* Management of all necessary documentation and admin
* Identifying possible RFP’s
* Preparation and submission of corporate proposals
* Be able to present to high level individuals within corporate and public sector.
* Organising, managing and hosting new potential client functions during and after hours
* Arrange promotions, events and outings for potential new clients.
* Building relationships with key supplier
* CRM management

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Minimum Education Required: Relevant Tertiarry degree or diploma
Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years sales experience in a similar role
